Using my experience in the Berlin birth world, I provide professional and heartfelt support for your entire journey; from pregnancy through to postpartum.
I offer only 1 birth companionship a month (maximum 2) to ensure a high quality service.
INCLUSIVE SUPPORT: PREGNANCY, BIRTH, POSTPARTUM
As a birth companion, I support you through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
I adapt to your unique needs, I don't count minutes but make sure that you feel cared for and confident.

This service includes typically 4 prenatal visits (but each family is different and I adapt to your needs):

Focus on preparation, information, emotional support, and welcoming your current emotions (lasting around 2-3 hours each, in the comfort of your home.)

We may cover: your story and wishes, birth physiology, options for birth in Berlin, forming a birth plan, creating a supportive environment at birth, pain management options, preparing for the postpartum, safe baby sleep, newborn care, breastfeeding...

I offer relaxation through guided meditations, breathing, chanting, rebozos, pregnancy massages and work on myofascial release (if desired).

I can support you during medical appointments if needed

I welcome full partner participation and provide them with support as birth partners. If you are navigating this solo, we can plan your support strategies together.

I'm on call 24.7 from 14 days before the due date and 10 days after (this can be altered e.g. if you are at risk of preterm labour)

I am present whenever you need it during labour and birth, stay up to 2 hours after birth. I bring in calm and care, however long your birth lasts.

I am here to support you advocate for yourself, offer suggestions for positioning if labor is not progressing, and am present if you need support to help you manage pain or anxiety.

I can provide a trusted backup doula.

After birth: A visit to talk through your birth story. A space to process and debrief on what you went through, and hands-on support for your first steps as parents (I can come to the clinic, or at home - depending on needs)

When you feel ready to close this chapter, we’ll meet for a closing session, we focus on physically and symbolically honour your birth story and transition out of the 'birth' phase (this can happen weeks or months after birth - when you are ready)

I offer generous text/phone support throughout pregnancy and postpartum, including virtual care in the first 6 weeks postpartum

Whether your cesarean is medically needed or a choice, I support you feel informed, and prepared. Caring and professional presence before, during, and after the birth to approach this experience with confidence.

AFTER BIRTH
Adjusting to life with a newborn is a major transition. I am here to support you in this transition, feeling heard in your emotions and confident in your role as parent(s).
POSTPARTUM CARE
"Mothering the mother" is at the heart of what I do. By providing a supportive professional presence in the delicate days after birth, I ensure you are feeling special and supported in your recovery and processing of your new life.
Tailored to your unique needs, this support may include:

a listening ear to revisit your birth story and talk about the emotions of postpartum

breastfeeding guidance

newborn care (changing, putting to sleep, bathing, taking baby for a walk while you rest, initiation to baby wearing in a scarf...)

light household help, organising and sorting things (e.g nursery, laundry, vacuuming, cooking nourishing meals)

calm reassuring and supportive presence from a trained professional who understands the intensity of postpartum
